To keep this person happy, you must acknowledge and reply to them immediately and basically tell them how smart and amazing they are for having said what they said. Constant reassurance, praise and appreciation. One day I was exhausted and he told me one of his great ideas, I zoned out and took a few seconds to focus. He was SO UPSET. Almost distraught, as if I was rejecting his thoughts or didn’t value him. His reaction was unbelievable, he said I “always put him down”. I was simply was tired…. This narcissist will thrive when you agree w/ everything they say and praise (lots of praise). If you disagree or did what I did (basically being normal, imperfect, tired person) - you will pay for it.

I have been struggling to leave a narcissist relationship and your personal story helped more than all your tapes combined to move me forward . Just hearing the same story I’ve been experiencing somehow made a difference. I think the love bombing kept me stuck. They (he had a caretaker who was also involved in the manipulation) spot looked like he was victim, it is a frightening story when I started dissect the parts. But I see now it was a dual manipulation. I wonder if two narcisists can pay in the same mud hole. Some of what happened was very sophisticated or they had lots of practice is what I think because there have been other woman. It’s taken 4 years to understand it all because it’s been an off and on relationship but today I am able to make the turn and resolve the u resolved frustration of the unfairness that has been a huge burden to deal with. I will find peace I hope when I understand the pieces and put Humpty Dumpty back to whole. What is so important here is that he and I were 79 when we met so they don’t grow out of it, only become more masterful in the use of the tactics. Thank you. ITT everyone I ever knew who was mean to me is a narcissist

Mine constantly threatened to leave me with our young son ... til the day I told him go ahead don't let the door swing shut and hit u on the @ss on the way out... that changed everything... I soon left and he was left standing in the pile of crap he created... my therapist was an EMDR specialist... within 4 months I dealt with the trauma from my childhood that caused me to marry yet another narcissist as well as trauma from my marriage... no Cluster B gets inside my boundaries ...ever!!

🇹🇹💯🇹🇹 General claims are being made that narcissist's are people who were abused and pampered. However, many people who were abused or pampered, or both have chosen to be healthy individuals. As with all things - people make choices. Notwithstanding, mental illness is real - maybe we can just put all narc's in that category.

My Ex always were very quiet, i was screaming after a few Years ...scares me now tbh. but he used to trigger me a lot, specially after i had to listen straight for 5 Days about whats wrong with me....that cycle is kinda pervert, i bet he could bring me to the Point to do very,very wrong things. I now realised, i was always fighting for myself, like he could not break my Will. I remember telling him my 1.First Husband (absolutely violent, he used to torture me like he learned in the Army, he really did very bad things to my Body, and i have to seperate my Body from me, because i will go crazy if i put that part together with me) one Night said: Theres no Way to break You, i dont know what to do anymore, 100 Soldiers could rape You, but You would never give up....that Night he tried to remove my Tongue, just bcs i said: poor Man, see who You are, You never can be like me.... But he, the Narc, always quiet, he had me loose my Mind....i wanted to hurt him, i wanted to get rid of all the negative Feelings, the Anger ... Good You talk about Team up, there is no Team, take care of Yourself, learn, grow and let go. Otherwise Lives will be destroyed, and for what? Ease Your Pain? It wont....! Make them stop? You won't! Today i talked to my Lawyer, its about a the worst Night in my Life, what he did to me, and i had to realise my Chance to see him get punished by Law is like 5%....but the Question is: will i survive ? Going through it over and over again, while tons of People watching You?.... I just need to Heal, thats N.1....😢

You describe my mother-in-law to the tea ! Absolutely, she will push everybody to the point where they will verbally attack her . She even will attempt to get you to physically attack her by putting hands on you invading your personal space by going Toe to toe and nose to nose with you. These kind of people are infuriating to deal with, and they know exactly what they are doing ! The worst part is when you're married to one of their children. And that child has been brainwashed and suffers from a kind of Stockholm syndrome and ignores the bad behavior as opposed to tossing the parent out of the family. 😔 This woman has shown the seeds of discourse so horribly through my family that has caused my wife and I to separate. And now grandma has her new narcissistic supply, our son that is easily manipulated and controlled with simple things like candy. Now my son and my spouse are completely dependent on her😭. Lord Jesus Christ, help my family save them from this evil woman ! Omg I have also referred her as a tick sucking the life blood from my family and pumping in poison.
